Our Story

Who we are

Build Fitness was founded in 2014 with a simple but powerful idea: create a gym that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. After experiencing gyms that felt intimidating, impersonal, or unkind, Brandi set out to build something different — a place where people could train without fear or judgment, and where community mattered as much as results.

At its core, Build Fitness is built on connection. With a background and deep love for team sports, Brandi understood the power of working together toward a common goal. That mindset shaped everything from how sessions are coached to how members support one another. The culture is positive, encouraging, and real — with hard work, laughter, a little sarcasm, and a lot of support, especially during the tough moments.

Today, Build Fitness supports adults, kids, teams, and individuals of all backgrounds who are looking for a place where they belong. Our model is rooted in consistency, care, and community
